Opossum Braving Near Zero Temps on CSG Pond

Glanced out at Carillon Stonegate Pond and noticed this Opossum searching for food yesterday.

Brilliant sunshine - but Chicago cold at near zero degrees! But when you're hungry, you must find food!.

This Opossum hunted for some twenty (20) minutes before disappearing over the north bank of Carillon Stonegate Pond.

Remember spring is around the corner - pitchers and catchers report for Spring Training on February 15th!

So when it finally warms, Take a hike and see what you can find - and identify!
