Dancer and Dasher at Carillon Stonegate Pond?

No red nose, so it was not Rudolph! But were these White-tail Deer getting ready for a Christmas Eve fly-around?

Probably not.

But these three deer (there is one hid in the tall grass in the back) were seen grazing this afternoon on the north side of the west Carillon Stonegate Pond. They stayed around for nearly 45 minutes before heading back into the woods.

Even on these cold days, there are opportunities to see the wildlife and birds that make their homes around Carillon Stonegate Pond. Take a hike - or simply look out your back door - and see what you can find – and identify!
